[permanent intro] WELCOME

Welcome. This site reviews the work of Deborah Waldrip, Architect. Deborah's studio is currently based in downtown Malibu, focusing on residential architecture. Three recent projects include:
*19220-22 PCH; construction administration.
*Birdview; remodel of a beach property.
*Latigo 4; multi-unit housing.

5-27-2002 The Calendar is Here!
Happy Memorial Day (nice to have the day off in order to do a little bit more coding)! New today: The WA/SA calendar + random comic sketches of Deborah, Chris, and Sandro working 9 to 5 at Aloha8.
5-22-2002 One More Bit
Very happy to inform that the project pages (the supposed main 'raison d'etre' of the site) are finally under way. There is text and images to review, under Projects. Come back soon for more-more-more. Bonus in the Projects section: Shakin' Windows, recalling the California earthquake-lifestyle. The calendar is also being developed (the coding is harsh, so give it a week; for now you can see what it looks like). Texts are now available in a database shared with sorensenarchitects.com.
1-25-2002 Building Bits, Bit by Bit
Slowly but surely the site becomes established. An aesthetic for project pages has been developed, with 'special' links from the front page. The Project randomizer has also been designed-programmed (it's those icons of houses that keep on dropping down; just click on either one to be taken to a random review of either a coastal or inland project). Watch out for the database of architectural details, a sub-site about Malibu, a Flash intro page, the beginings of content, and more direct linking to sorensenarchitects.com.
1-1-2002 Inauguration
Today this site is officially open. Soon to become one of LA's 'favorite' architecture Web sites. These pages are based on the structure of the site for Japanese Tecno-Pop (an event Deborah attended recently in Guadalajara, Mexico; she was favorably impressed by the 'tight' single-page layout, incorporating the latest in DHTML that... here it is!). Happy new year!
