detail: Ongoing building, gardening, tiling, working with children at an elementary school in Tijuana. Groups meet in Chula Vista and drive down for the day, returning by 530 pm. It is always interesting and you will meet great people. Architect James Hubbell brings everyone together to participate in the long-term creation of an organic architecture. Meeting point is the parking area of the H street Trolley in Chula Vista. Look for Jim's white mini van. Expect to arrive in the Colonia around 930 am, and work until 3 to 4 pm. In general, it's helpful if you bring work gloves, a straw hat and/or any general tools, like a drill, hammer or sander. We take a lunch break from noon to 1 pm. Bring your own lunch.
