H-Street Trolley stop (H-Street exit Freeway 5; Chula Vista)
info: 760-765-3427; lael@abac.com
detail: Ongoing building, gardening, tiling, working with children at
an elementary school in Tijuana. Groups meet in Chula Vista and drive
down for the day, returning by 530 pm. It is always interesting and you
will meet great people. Architect James Hubbell brings everyone together
to participate in the long-term creation of an organic architecture. Meeting
point is the parking area of the H street Trolley in Chula Vista. Look
for Jim's white mini van. Expect to arrive in the Colonia around 930 am,
and work until 3 to 4 pm. In general, it's helpful if you bring work gloves,
a straw hat and/or any general tools, like a drill, hammer or sander.
We take a lunch break from noon to 1 pm. Bring your own lunch. Beginners
and professionals are welcome. You can bring your kids! Bring a Friend
– Bring Two! A $10.00 donation is helpful for paying material costs.
